Our Interior DesignersShopping for a single item, couch, chair or desk or do you need to furnish an entire bedroom, dining room or living room? There are so many choices you can easily become overwhelmed and confused. Do you prefer contemporary or traditional styling? Should the wood be oak, cherry, birch, maple or pecan? Should I use a sofa and love seat or a sectional? What will wear better, a micro fiber, leather or blended fabric? Is the size and scale right for my room? What will work well with what I already have in the room? Helping you make the right choices and avoiding costly mistakes is the goal of our designers. Meet our staff. They are here TO HELP YOU.

I approach every project with heartfelt enthusiasm, a passion for good design and a love of people. I will know I have achieved my goal when I see the look of satisfaction in your eyes as your new living space is revealed to you for the very first time.
My career in design began after 16 years as a successful business owner. I've had the opportunity to work in a wide variety of homes including very traditional wine country estates, vintage bungalows, contemporary townhouses and Spring Lake Village homes. Whether you're inspired by formal, casual or sleek and sophisticated elegance, allow me to design the room of your dreams.
Deborah Bartee Starting my career as a furniture buyer at Bullocks, North and Breuners, home furnishing leaders of the time, gave me invaluable insight
and knowledge of the home furnishings industry. Later, I chose to branch off into residential interior design, working for a Drexel Heritage dealer in
Alabama before coming to Pedersen's Furniture. For the last eight years, I've had the privilege of designing welcoming interiors for clients
all over Sonoma, Napa, Marin, Lake and Mendocino counties. I have designed Shabby Chic Cottages in Sebastopol, Wine Country Estates in Napa and everything
in between. The fun part is always the reveal. Seeing the client's vision of home go from an idea to the re-creation of their space,
is my life's passion. Denise Capurro My design philosophy has remained constant over the last 25 years. I listen to the desires and needs of the client, honor their budget and most importantly, fulfill their dreams beyond expectation. Your home is the hub of your life. Your home should say welcome after a long day and be a place you enjoy with friends and family.
Mary Marson One of the most exciting aspects of being a designer at Pedersen's Furniture is working with my clients to achieve the room of their dreams. With my custom sewing and design experience, I enjoy the challenge of listening, envisioning and putting my passion for design into a room to make it come "alive".
My goal is to help you create a space where the foundation of the design is structured from your ideas. You are the Master of the Plan and I am the "Designer" who will listen to your color and style preferences. Together, we will create a plan based on the fundamentals of good design, as well as furniture and accessory placement that ensures good traffic flow and has harmony. By using all of Pedersen's resources, we will create and environment that you will be proud to call home for many years to come.
Jeri Nilson My background in design stems from a lifelong love affair with architecture, nature and art. I have successfully worked in the fields of education, psychology, sales and management. Whether you are purchasing your first serious piece of furniture or furnishing an entire new home, my goal is to assist you in selecting the right pieces to create the space of your dreams. My skills include actively listening to my clients needs, working within time and budgetary constraints and getting the job done! I excel in blending treasures from the past with newly-selected future heirlooms to give your home a custom look and feel. Pam Rilla I believe that the interior design process starts with you. Getting to know you, your goals for the room(s) and your lifestyle will allow me to successfully guide you throughout the project. My knowledge of design principles, color, and available products allow me to present you with the best options to match your needs. As a team, we will select comfortable, quality furniture in finishes and fabrics that are decoratively correct and a stunning reflection of you. I take great satisfaction from sharing my lifetime love of design and seeing the smile on your face as a room comes together. Jan Rusk I have enhanced my expertise in design from extensive world travel,
visiting major capital cities as well as exploring the countryside
of all continents. Combined with many years experience and schooling
in Interior Design, I apply design principles to architecture and
furniture styles, sometimes helping you see in ways you have not
seen before. Desta Stoner Over the past seventeen years working in retail furniture sales and design I have learned what resources are available, the new trends in fabrics, colors, mixing of styles - the eclectic look we love!
My background includes the design and building of my own custom home and decorating it from the floor up. I have also designed interiors for medical centers, reception areas and private physician offices.
Let me help you plan your haven or refuge, your sanctuary from a sometimes difficult world. A place that will be as formal or casual as your lifestyle dictates. Nicki Ullrich My goal is to assist you in creating the unique personality that you
would like your home to reflect. We are all as wonderfully diverse
as this beautiful area that we have chosen to live in. The elements
of design are influenced by the past, alive in the present and with
an eye to the future - much like you are. My many years of experience
with design, space planning and creating ambient surroundings will help you
achieve the home you envision.
