5 easy steps

Step 1: The basics
The Masterplan consultant comes to your home and takes precise measurements.

Step 2: Getting to know you
Your consultant interviews you about the feeling you want to create, your style and color preferences and your special needs (e.g. entertaining, kid-friendly furniture).

Step 3: Where we begin
You show your consultant the pieces you already own and wish to integrate into your plans.

Step 4: Your plan comes to life
Your rooms are drawn to scale in color (as shown below). Furniture arrangements, fabrics and colors for furniture upholstery, window treatments and floor coverings are included.

Step 5: Furnishing your rooms
You meet with your consultant at our store to view the pieces, colors and fabrics suggested in your Masterplan. Purchase as much as you want, when you want, even a piece at a time, with complete confidence that you will love the end result.

Meet our graduate Masterplan Designer
Our Masterplan Designer works behind the scenes with all of our Masterplan Consultants and oversees all Masterplan projects.

Sandra Murray
After receiving her degree in Interior Design in 1980, Sandra operated her own Interior Design business through 1988. In 1989, when Pedersen's first introduced the Masterplan design service, Sandra was hired as our Masterplan Designer. In 1994 Sandra took on the additional responsibilities of Showroom Coordinator and Accessory Buyer for Pedersen's.
Sandra's twelve years of experience with the Masterplan design program makes her a valuable resource for Pedersen's clients. Sandra sees the Masterplan process as an opportunity to create a personal space that appeals to the senses and ultimately meets the needs and desires of the client.
