Open up space in the great room by replacing the existing sofa and design a layout that provides easy access and good flow from one area to another. Create an updated contemporary look with plenty of seating for entertaining.
Choose color and design to support the client’s large collection of Southwest art.
The Success Story
Providing a welcoming space for friends and family to gather, a creamy-white Century sofa takes center stage. The subtle white on white fabric offers texture and interest without appearing too busy. Vibrant accent pillows sizzle in purples, oranges, and reds. Using the Miles Talbot “Ottoman Options” program, the ottoman was custom designed in a pebbly gray leather. A Feizy rug with a traditional Persian design grounds the space. Two Comfort Design recliners with a Flexsteel table between them are the choice for relaxing and watching the game on TV. The fabric on the recliners pulls in the greens, taupe, warm oranges and grays that are found throughout the room. The result is an inviting and exciting contemporary space that strikes a perfect balance of form, movement and color.

My husband and I moved onto a new home and needed to furnish the large great room and a den. After reviewing the furniture options at the other local furniture stores, we found that Pedersen’s had a large selection of furniture options for our needs. We were lucky to work with Katie Garman as our designer. She is a very delightful and talented designer who pays attention to details. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome and the custom furniture that was selected for us. The installation team was very polite and efficient with the delivery and set up. The best part was that Pedersen’s held the pieces as they arrived, then delivered everything at once. We will be adding a few pieces and look forward to working with Katie to make it happen.
